Implementation Details

VAT Calculation

All prices for Swiss customers will include the appropriate Swiss VAT rate:

  • Standard Rate: 8.1% – Most goods and services
  • Reduced Rate: 2.6% – Essential goods, food, books
  • Special Rate: 3.8% – Accommodation services

Important Information

Transition Period

The new system takes effect on January 1, 2025. Orders placed before this date follow the current system; orders from then onward use the new simplified process.

Note: All prices include taxes and customs fees. Some countries may require recipient assistance with customs clearance. Goods over CHF 1,000 still follow the traditional customs process.
